Stacy sat on the couch as she read her magazine quietly. She flipped another page before looking up to see Ryan with something hid behind his back. She felt a puzzled look creep onto her face as she pondered what her husband planned. Ryan sat down beside his wife of several months and pulled out the item he had hid. He then tied it around her head and pulled her off the couch.
"Ryan! What on earth are you doing!" she exclaimed unhappy over being pulled off her seat.
"Just wait and see, Stacy, dearest." He said as he led her across the house. He continued to walk her across the lovely wood floor house until they reached the kitchen. Ryan then untied the handkerchief and turned her too the kitchen. What she saw made her gasp with excitement. The lights were dimmed and the table sat up in a gorgeous manner with her best china they received as a wedding present from Renee.
"Oh, Ryan!" she squealed. They sat down to their romantic dinner and talked for hours with the lights dimmed.
"I love you." He said kissing her cheek.
"I love you two, you spiky haired punk!" she replied.
"Now, there's another little surprise for you." He said. She followed him back to the living room and he sat her back on the couch. He stepped over to the old Victrola and put on an old jazz record.
"May I have this dance?" He asked putting his hand in front of her.
"Yes, you may." She said standing up. Ryan bowed politely and they began to dance. They danced for the rest of the night with the lights dimmed listening to the old Victrola.
